Not many people realize Central Park Conservancy is the group responsible for restoring, enhancing, and maintaining the Park since 1980. Without them, there’d be no one to raise the $50MM+ necessary to run the Park each year, 85% of which comes from private donations from people like us.

Imagine Central Park without the Great Lawn. Imagine it without Belvedere Castle, Bethesda Terrace, or Bow Bridge. Now Imagine Central Park without the whir of bikes circling the loop, the melodic sounds of musicians playing in Naumburg bandshell, or the laughter of children filling Heckscher playground. Imagine it without hot dog carts, waffle stands, or Sunday morning picnics. Imagine no rowboats to paddle, Cat Rock to climb, or Lasker Pool to swim. Imagine Central Park without 21,000 trees, 250 acres of lawn, or the hundreds of thousands of flowers that paint the landscape season after season after season. 40 million people a year visit Central Park and they experience it’s extraordinary beauty in countless ways. You can’t imagine Central Park without any of it...and we can’t imagine Central Park without you.

  • Concept Imagining New York City without Central Park is, well, it's unimaginable.
  • Owned Media Central Park Conservancy used the graphic construct on their website, in newsletters, for member communications and more to highlight the different people, places, and things we can't imagine Central Park without.
  • Social Media A content calendar was generated to schedule messaging opportunities on Facebook and Twitter that were unique to the campaign. Thanks to a recent change in Facebook timeline guidelines we were even able to add contest elements to our posts.
  • OOH Pole banners were created to encircle the Central Park loop and raise awareness to all who ran, biked, strolled, or just happened to happen by. Due to city restrictions, overt calls to action could not be used in the banners. The oversized headlines and silhouetted antique-toned photography set on a stark white background pop brilliantly against a bright blue autumn-winter sky streaked with tree branches.
